Noah Willey gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Thursday. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Oak Glen's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 5-8 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Willey and Oak Glen will face off against Beaver Local at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Bears are a perfect 5-0 against the Beavers going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
