Franklin Road Christian's 35-2 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They lost to Franklin Christian Academy on the road by a decisive 72-53 margin on Monday.
Despite the defeat, Franklin Road Christian had strong showings from Ben Walker, who scored 19 points along with 9 rebounds, and Chase Prince, who scored 14 points. The match was Walker's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Branch, who scored 10 points along with 5 assists.
Meanwhile, Stem Preparatory Academy pushed their score all the way to 55 last Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 62-55 to Mount Juliet Christian Academy. Stem Preparatory Academy has struggled against Mount Juliet Christian Academy recently, as their match last Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Franklin Road Christian now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Stem Preparatory Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
