Pocono Mountain West extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 3-11 in the process. They lost 13-3 to the Pleasant Valley Bears. On Pleasant Valley's side, Kailyn Getz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Getz was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Jovie Valenzuela was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Emma DePalma, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
