Ness City's Pedro Flores recorded the longest rushing play in Central Prairie (8 Man) this season in his game against Hodgeman County last week. Flores ran for 70 yards on the play and finished with 115 on the day as his team fell to the Longhorns.
Kinsley lost to Kiowa County 56-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Conner Frame threw for 20 yards and ran for 56 yards in the defeat.
Macksville's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tanner Tranbarger threw for 133 yards and Simon Miller had 130 yards receiving. On the ground Tranbarger contributed 234 yards.
Tranbarger was a force in the backfield as the Mustangs defeated St. John.
Logan Jansonius was a key player and the best on defense this week as Ness City lost to Hodgeman County. The 5-foot-10 senior.
Miller was the best receiver in the league this week as Macksville topped the Tigers. Miller racked up 6 receptions for 130 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Frame of Kinsley is the league leader in passing yards this season with 565. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Miller. The Macksville star has 25 catches for 412 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Jeff Chambers' team takes on St. John. The Coyotes are currently in sixth, while Chris Story's team is in fourth.
Jeff Kuckelman's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 251 from 327. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 58-36 victory over the Tigers last week.
