The North Posey Vikings will challenge the Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

  Sibyl Renshaw and  Jenna Wehmer did most of the damage at the plate:  Renshaw  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs, while  Wehmer  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.  Ava Lowe was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Evansville Mater Dei's way against Forest Park on Tuesday as Evansville Mater Dei made off with  an  8-0 victory.
  Alessia Baumann made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Baumann was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and a  double.
 Baumann wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Claire Wagner, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 North Posey has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record  this season. As for Evansville Mater Dei, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.
 Wednesday's   match will be a test for both team's pitchers. North Posey hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .350. However, it's not like Evansville Mater Dei struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .332.
