Jianna Lopez was a one-man wrecking crew for Santa Cruz Valley as she dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lopez has scored all season. Layna Ethington was another key contributor, scoring a point along with six rebounds and six steals.
Sequoia Pathway Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Santa Cruz Valley, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.
