South Robeson will look to defend their home turf on Friday against West Columbus at 7:30 PM. South Robeson is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
South Robeson took a serious blow against Lake View last Friday, falling 6-53.
Meanwhile, West Columbus took their game against Creek Bridge by a conclusive 27-0 score. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (21) and coasted on those for the win.
West Columbus's victory lifted them to 1-1 while South Robeson's loss dropped them down to 0-2. In West Columbus's victory, senior Shawn Tyson rushed for 100 yards and 1 touchdown and freshman Naqiis Johnson rushed for 100 yards and 1 touchdown. We'll see if South Robeson have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
