Veritas Prep never got on the board in their matchup last Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Fountain Hills on Monday. They blew past Fountain Hills 13-3. Veritas Prep's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Cade Huseth made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and only one walk).
