Athol entered their tilt with Hampden Charter School of Science on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Hampden Charter School of Science. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Bears this season.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-17, 25-11.

Aiden Desreuisseau paced Athol's offense, picking up nine kills. Desreuisseau got some help from Landon Collins and his 11 assists. Warren Taylor controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Athol's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Hampden Charter School of Science, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Athol will venture away from home to take on Sci-Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Hampden Charter School of Science, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pioneer Valley Christian at 5:15 p.m. on May 12.
