In what's become a running theme this season, Crowley County gave their fans yet another huge  win in Friday's  second game. They blew past the Rocky Ford Meloneers 18-2. While fans of Crowley County might be used to big wins, the 16-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
  Seth Schultz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (and only one walk). Schultz was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Derreck Buford was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4.  Tanner Kuhn was another key contributor,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with three  runs, three  RBI,  and a  triple.
 On Rocky Ford's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Shayne Gonzales, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-1.
 Crowley County's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 4-4. As for Rocky Ford, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with that  loss, which was their 11th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Crowley County will  face off against Ellicott at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Ellicott's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last four games. As for Rocky Ford, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Swink at 4:00  p.m.  on April 16th.
