The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Orangewood Christian in their matchups with The First Academy: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite the loss, Orangewood Christian saw an underclassman step up: Jacoby Osbourne scored 13 points.
Orangewood Christian's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-13. As for The First Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orangewood Christian will take on Lake Mary Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for The First Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
