Basketball Recap: Moon Valley Gets the Win

If Metro Tech wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Moon Valley, they should've done a better job of containing Aniston Pattershall. The Moon Valley Rockets strolled past the Metro Tech Knights with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 43-28 thanks in part to Pattershall, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten steals. Her morning made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Moon Valley now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Metro Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moon Valley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Thunderbird at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Metro Tech will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Copper Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025.
