The Parrish Community Bulls waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ida Baker 67-34 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Parrish Community has managed all season.
Leading Parrish Community to victory were Dylan Higgins and Malakai Cuffy. Higgins scored 16 points along with three steals, while Cuffy scored 16 points along with five assists and two steals. Higgins hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Taye Green, who scored seven points along with four steals.
Parrish Community has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Ida Baker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-11.
Parrish Community will be playing in front of their home fans against Lemon Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lemon Bay is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Ida Baker, they will head out on the road to face off against Cypress Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cypress Lake focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Friday.
