Whitman-Hanson Regional had to start their season on the road  on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell  3-1 to the North Quincy Raiders. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in September of 2024.
 Brooke Steele paced Whitman-Hanson Regional's offense, picking up six kills. Steele got some help from  Leah Barnett and her nine assists.  Presley Giannino controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
The  victory  got North Quincy back to even at 1-1.
 Whitman-Hanson Regional has  already played their next  game (against Hanover), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Quincy also has no score uploaded for their next  matchup, this one against Marshfield.
