The West Haven Blue Devils were the 39-31 winner over the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. West Haven fell 35-27 to Notre Dame Catholic on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points West Haven has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Notre Dame Catholic to victory, but perhaps none more so than Arianna Kedersha, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Madison Gibbs, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
West Haven has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Notre Dame Catholic, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Haven's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wilbur Cross at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Wilbur Cross is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Notre Dame Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on Brookfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookfield is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.
