After a string of nine wins, Bishop Ireton's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Springdale Bulldogs.

Bishop Ireton's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2. As for Springdale, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Ireton will welcome Riverdale Baptist at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Springdale, they will square off against Northside at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Springdale's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
