Ronnie Roche continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kings Christian, scoring 28 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Roche has scored at least 25% of Kings Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Roche, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals.
Coast Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Kings Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Coast Union will head out on the road to face off against Orcutt Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kings Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverdale at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Riverdale will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 498th, while Kings Christian is ranked 235th).
