The Climax-Scotts Panthers will be playing at home against the Quincy Orioles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Climax-Scotts is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
Last Thursday, Climax-Scotts came up short against the Spartans and fell 52-40.
Meanwhile, Quincy had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Reading on Friday as Quincy made off with a 60-37 win. The win was just what Quincy needed coming off of a 61-40 loss in their prior match.
Quincy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Miner out in front who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Miner is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Grant Carter, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Climax-Scotts has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Quincy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8.
Climax-Scotts was taken down by the Orioles 82-40 in their previous meeting back in December of 2016. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Climax-Scotts was down 45-20.
