Henley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Klamath Union recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Hornets will head out to challenge the Pelicans at 5:00 p.m. Henley will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
On Saturday, Henley earned a 10-5 victory over Phoenix.

Mark Carpenter made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Conner Shively was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Carson Siems, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.
Meanwhile, Klamath Union came up short against Hidden Valley on Saturday, falling 14-1. The Pelicans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Klamath Union saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Glidden, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
Henley's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Klamath Union, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
Henley's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's matchup. The Hornets have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Klamath Union, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Henley continue to outrun the ball?
Henley took their win against Klamath Union when the teams last played on April 3rd by a conclusive 13-1 score. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pelicans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
