Diman RVT has gone a perfect 7-0 against Old Colony RVT recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Bengals will face off against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Diman RVT comes in on nine and Old Colony RVT on six.
On Tuesday, Diman RVT made easy work of Brockton and carried off a 15-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Bengals, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Ian Morales-Campbell looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Diman RVT got a massive performance out of Cam Falcon, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Falcon a new career-high. Cory Almeida also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Meanwhile, while Old Colony RVT put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Bristol County Agricultural. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Chieftains. The Cougars are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the seventh match they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Cole Correia was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Correia was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Colin Monahan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Michael Tomkiewicz, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one double.
Diman RVT pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Old Colony RVT, their record is now 13-5.
Diman RVT's speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's game. The Bengals have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.8 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Old Colony RVT, though, as they've been averaging only 1.3 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Diman RVT continue to outrun the ball?
Diman RVT skirted past Old Colony RVT 5-4 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
