Even though the Berea Pirates scored an imposing 58 points on Saturday, the Belfry Pirates still came out on top. Belfry managed a 62-58 victory over Berea. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Belfry.
Belfry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eric Daniels, who scored 20 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zade Rash, who scored 16 points along with 6 steals.
Belfry's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Berea, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Belfry will be playing at home against Paintsville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Paintsville is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Berea's road trip will continue as they head out to face West Carter at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th.
