Constitution State recap November 13, 2013
Capital Prep/Classical Magnet/Achievement First extended the longest winning streak in Constitution State this week by beating O'Brien RVT, 42-0. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Trailblazers.
Capital Prep/Classical Magnet/Achievement First made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,361 from 4,613. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 42-0 victory over the Condors last week.
Collin Jandreau threw for 216 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Delton Rogers was a beast in the backfield as Abbott RVT beat Wilcox RVT.
Jandreau put up the best numbers in passing as the Indians lost to the Wolverines. Jandreau's favorite target this week was Daniel Guodace, who caught 4 passes for 83 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Rayshawn Phillips of Chris Fulton's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,133. He has also thrown 13 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Guodace. The Wilcox RVT star has 31 catches for 469 yards.
Chris McNamara of the Bullard-Havens is only 41 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. McNamara has rushed for 959 yards on 113 carries so far this year.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Cheney RVT takes on the Trailblazers. As it stands, the Beavers are in fourth, while Capital Prep/Classical Magnet/Achievement First is in first.
The Tigers led the league in scoring this week by notching 65 points on Wolcott RVT. McNamara threw for 102 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 70 yards during the win.
