The North Haven Nighthawks will head out to square off against the Foran Lions at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, North Haven put up the most runs they have all season on Saturday. They never let West Haven get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Nighthawks in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Alyssa DiGiovanna was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, two RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Ferriouolo, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Foran put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Lauralton Hall 17-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Lions' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Abigail Corris made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Foran got a massive performance out of Norah Bove, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Nyla Jaser was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Foran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .561. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lauralton Hall only posted an OBP of .167.
Foran's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for North Haven, their record now sits at 2-4.
North Haven beat Foran 8-4 in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. Do the Nighthawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
