After losing to the Natrona County Mustangs the last time they met, the Laramie Plainsmen decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Laramie managed a 55-51 victory over Natrona County on Friday.
Leading Laramie to victory were Kylin Shipman and Bella Yates. Shipman scored 15 points along with seven assists and two steals, while Yates scored 11 points along with four blocks and two steals. Another player making a difference was Addison Forry, who scored 13 points along with three steals.
Laramie pushed their record up to 11-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Natrona County, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Laramie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-36 loss vs. Sheridan on the 10th. Natrona County has also already played their next matchup, a 51-36 victory against South on the 10th.
