Palisades has gone a perfect 8-0 against University recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dolphins will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Palisades knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully University likes a good challenge.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Palisades and Venice meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Dolphins skirted past the Gondoliers 56-54.

Palisades didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Tavian Talbert, Demare Dezeurn, and Enzo Allen picked up one apiece. Allen is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least six every time he's taken the field this season. Dezeurn got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, University hadn't done well against Hamilton recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Wildcats won a game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Yankees 27-26. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Wildcats were the better team in the second half.
University found their leader in sophomore William Biddle, who rushed for 75 yards and a pair of scores. Messiah Burton was in the mix as well, providing the Wildcats with one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: University was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 207 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamilton only rushed for 41.
Palisades' victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for University, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Everything came up roses for Palisades against University in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-14 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Biddle, who rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Dolphins still be able to contain Biddle? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
