Newaygo entered their tilt with West Michigan Aviation Academy on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over West Michigan Aviation Academy.

Ruby Hughes paced Newaygo's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hughes got some help from Grace Hughes and her 21 assists. Gabby Arney and Amaya Lathrop kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Newaygo's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for West Michigan Aviation Academy, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Newaygo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Western Michigan Christian on the 20th. As for West Michigan Aviation Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Whitehall on the 20th.
