The McGavock Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 86-39 loss at the hands of Cane Ridge. McGavock has not had much luck with Cane Ridge recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
It was another big night for Da'ron Hall, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds for Cane Ridge. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Pugh, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
McGavock has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Cane Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.
McGavock will head out on the road to face off against Hillsboro at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cane Ridge, they will be playing at home against Hunters Lane at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hunters Lane is coming into the match with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning Cane Ridge will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
