 Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Ridgedale gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Ridgemont  a   27-0 shutout. The  win was nothing new for Ridgedale as they're now sitting on five straight.
 Like Pleasant, Ridgedale also got a great game from a two-way player:  Kenzie Delaney. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Delaney has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Delaney was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 4-for-5 with a  home run, nine  RBI,  and five  runs.
 In other batting news,  Lilly Ruth was  incredible,  scoring six  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all six of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last five games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Brenda Scott, who  scored four  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Pleasant's victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 8-13. As for Ridgedale, their win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-1.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pleasant has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Ridgedale struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 3.9. The only question left is which team can snag more.
