There's no place like home for the Chino Cowboys, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past Montclair, posting a 84-48 victory at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chino also won the last time the pair played on January 9th.
Chino was led to victory by Shawn Jamison Jr and Manuel Alba. Jamison Jr dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds, while Alba scored 16 points along with seven assists. Jamison Jr is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Kevin Gonzalez, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
Chino's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-14. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Montclair, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chino and Ontario will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Ontario is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Montclair, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Baldwin Park at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
