Centennial came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Legacy Longhorns, sneaking past 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Tuesday.
Dominic Tiberi tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
