Billings Central Catholic extended the longest winning streak in Eastern A this week by beating Laurel, 26-21. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Rams.
Billings Central Catholic and the Locomotives played the closest game in the league this week, with Billings Central Catholic eventually emerging with a 26-21 victory.
Sidney's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Gresh Jones threw for 114 and 1 touchdown and Cody Johnson had 45 yards receiving. On the ground Austin Kendall contributed 164 yards. Kory Halvorson helped Sidney's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 34 yards.
Kendall provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Eagles bested Hardin. Kendall's favorite target this week was Johnson, who caught 3 passes for 45 yards.
Jones put up the best numbers in passing as Sidney bested the Bulldogs.
Sidney's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jones has thrown for 574 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Caleb Benson has 10 catches for 169 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Custer County and Roger Merritt's team. The Cowboys enters the game ranked 21st in the state, while the Eagles ranks 24th.
