Xavier Butler Goes Supernova in South Gwinnett Win
Starting off the list is South Gwinnett's Xavier Butler, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Butler rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 115 yards and a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
South Gwinnett's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Butler and South Gwinnett will square off against Grayson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Eric Ramey Iii produced his most outstanding game to date while leading South Gwinnett to the win on Saturday. Ramey Iii rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

On Friday, Rockdale County got the W thanks in part to Jakobi Jones playing the best football he has all season. Jones picked up two sacks, forced two fumbles, and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
With the win, Rockdale County broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3. Jones and Rockdale County will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Archer at 7:00 p.m. on November 5th.
