Weed is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 54-26 victory over Oroville on the road.
Weed's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marcus Horton led the charge by rushing for 163 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 212 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. Horton really tore up the turf during one magnificent 74-yard run. Logan Bowles was another key back, gaining 256 total yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Etna was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They secured a 20-14 W over Brookings-Harbor.
