The biggest upset of the week belonged to Thornwood, who defeated 108th ranked Bradley-Bourbonnais, 49-35.
The Thunderbirds moved up to 196 from 242 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southwest Suburban - Red. Thornwood climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Boilermakers 49-35.
Lincoln-Way North's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Phoenix feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ryan Arthur has thrown for 605 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Jake Hradek has 7 catches for 147 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Lincoln-Way West takes on Bradley-Bourbonnais. As it stands, the Warriors are in second, while Mike Kohl's team is in fourth.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Lincoln-Way West beat Andrew 42-14. The victory was the fourth in a row for Mark VanderKooi's team.
