Devyn Grant Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Garner's Devyn Grant, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Grant rushed for 174 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (104.7).

Cleveland picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jackson Byrd. Nobody could stop Byrd as he threw for 351 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt.
Byrd is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Willow Spring on Friday. Byrd threw for 335 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt the last time he and the Storm duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jamal Newsome Delivers Best Effort of Season
Corinth Holders was led to victory by Jamal Newsome, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Newsome picked up 111 receiving yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles and defending four passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Corinth Holders' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Newsome and Corinth Holders will face off against Fuquay - Varina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
