Baseball Recap: Littlestown Triumphs

Littlestown won the last time they faced Biglerville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Thunderbolts walked away with a 9-5 win over the Canners. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Thunderbolts.

Littlestown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylen Branham, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those three runs gave Branham a new career-high. Logan Hoover also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Littlestown now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Biglerville, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Littlestown has already played their next contest, an 11-8 victory against Susquehannock on the 21st. As for Biglerville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-4 loss against Camp Hill on the 17th.
