Grace Christian suffered their biggest loss since November 27, 2023 on Friday. Their tough 84-63 defeat to Southern Wake Academy might stick with them for a while. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Tuesday (60), Grace Christian still had to take the loss.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Ma'Kyi Butler, who scored 20 points. Nate Jones was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Eastern Randolph didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Trinity on Friday, but they still walked away with a 81-77 victory. The victory was just what Eastern Randolph needed coming off of a 93-42 loss in their prior match.
Grace Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Eastern Randolph, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
