Lovejoy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Noah Banks, who scored 19 points, and Cordarius Wood who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Demarco Davis, who scored four points along with six steals.
Mundy's Mill's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Lovejoy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
Mundy's Mill will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Georgia (Alcovy is ranked 225th, while the Tigers are ranked 236th). As for Lovejoy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
