Silver Creek suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were beaten by Windsor 84-47. Silver Creek has not had much luck with Windsor recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Silver Creek's defeat came about despite a quality game from Gabe Selby, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Storz, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Greeley Central scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Greeley West 76-46 at home. The victory was just what Greeley Central needed coming off of a 79-41 defeat in their prior matchup.
Silver Creek's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2. As for Greeley Central, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Silver Creek was able to grind out a solid victory over Greeley Central when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 64-57. Will Silver Creek repeat their success, or does Greeley Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
