The American History Bald Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. American History will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
American History won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They suffered a tough 54-30 loss at the hands of Payne Tech.
Despite their loss, American History saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Shamiyah Mubarak, who scored 16 points along with two steals, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Dominique Jackson, who scored five points along with 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Montclair Kimberley Academy didn't have too much trouble with Montclair on the road on Monday as they won 47-28.
American History's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Montclair Kimberley Academy, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
American History might still be hurting after the 42-20 loss they got from Montclair Kimberley Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023.
