As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wagner has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Talan Pollack, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Walnut Grove Christian posted their biggest victory yet this season last Thursday. They blew past Fletcher 58-11 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-6.
Walnut Grove Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Adam Smith out in front who scored 21 points. Smith continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Robbie Adams was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The win was the fourth in a row for NorthPoint Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 10-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Walnut Grove Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10.
Friday's match is shaping up to be a blowout: NorthPoint Christian Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 50.7 points per game. It's a different story for Walnut Grove Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 33.5 points per game. The only thing between NorthPoint Christian Academy and another offensive beatdown is Walnut Grove Christian. Will they be able to keep them contained?
NorthPoint Christian Academy won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in November of 2023, slipping by Walnut Grove Christian 63-62.
