They strolled past Oswayo Valley with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 47-33. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Austin has managed all season.
When it comes to explaining why Oswayo Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nik Bonney. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points.
Austin's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8. As for Oswayo Valley, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Austin will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Galeton at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th. As for Oswayo Valley, they will be playing at home against Otto-Eldred at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Otto-Eldred will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
