West Deptford's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Glassboro Bulldogs a 7-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Caleb Delaney made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jason Hartman, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.

West Deptford's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Glassboro, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Deptford will face off against Delran at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glassboro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pennsville Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
