The Ada Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their sixth straight  defeat. They fell to Millwood  46-40. Ada was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in February of 2023.
 Despite the  loss, Ada saw an underclassman step up:  Sadie Epps  scored 19 points along with five  rebounds and four  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rylynn Truett, who  scored seven points along with six  rebounds.
 Ada's defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Millwood, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-11.
 Ada will head out on the road to  square off against  the Tigers at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Tuttle presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Cougars in Oklahoma (the Tigers are ranked 32nd, while the Cougars are ranked 201st). As for Millwood, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against the Saints at 6:30  p.m.
