They came out on top against Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy by a score of 3-1. The Fire haven't had any issues with the Crusaders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Christian Family Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 20-25, 25-23, 25-18.

Ally Justice went supernova, getting eight aces and seven kills. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high. Alyna Smith was another key player, getting six aces.
Meanwhile, Community Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to Challenger. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 3, 2023, but that streak is no more.
The final score came out to 25-23, 21-25, 25-21, 25-16.
Christian Family Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Community Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
Christian Family Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Community Christian Academy when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fire since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
