After only one run in their last game, Woodbridge made sure to put some runs up on the board against Potomac Senior on Friday. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Panthers. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Caelan Goodwin-Slater, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-5. Julian Puerta was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Goodwin-Slater wasn't the only one making solid contact: Woodbridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Potomac Senior only managed four hits.

Woodbridge now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Potomac Senior, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Woodbridge will face off against Mountain View at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Vikings' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Potomac Senior, they will challenge Forest Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
