Darell Paige's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Starting off the list is West Forsyth's Darell Paige, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Paige rushed for 216 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.5 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played.
The win (which was West Forsyth's fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. Paige and West Forsyth will square off against East Forsyth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Mount Tabor was led to victory by Snook Peterkin, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Peterkin rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also threw for 94 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes.
Peterkin and Mount Tabor will welcome Parkland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Peterkin will face off against Kiwion Covert, the Mustangs' star pass catcher. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Riley Horton Goes Supernova in West Forsyth Victory
Riley Horton was instrumental in extending West Forsyth's winning streak to five on Friday. Horton did his part (and then some), throwing for 206 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground for the 'W'.
