Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christ's Church Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Jativa, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Whitaker, who posted 19 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, St. Johns Classical Academy had to suffer through a 84-25 loss at the hands of Global Outreach Charter Academy. The Lions have struggled against the Kodiaks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

St. Johns Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Christ's Church Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

Everything came up roses for Christ's Church Academy against St. Johns Classical Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 59-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Christ's Church Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
