Southern Fulton barely beat McConnellsburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Not much got past Ava Beal, who gave up just three hits to keep McConnellsburg off the board. Beal has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Lakyin Hixson was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Brynley Schriever, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Spring Mills suffered their closest loss since April 26, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Pendleton County by a score of 6-4.
Taryn Close spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on two hits and racked up nine Ks.
At the plate, Spring Mills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jocilyn Graham, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Southern Fulton's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Spring Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
