Football Recap: Jayce Miller Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat North Harford

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Edgewood, Harford Tech was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 28-15 win over the North Harford Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Cobras, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Harford Tech got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayce Miller out in front who picked up 90 receiving yards and one TD. Miller got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 68 yards.

Harford Tech's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for North Harford, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Harford Tech will challenge Fallston at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cobras surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Harford, they will head out to challenge C. Milton Wright at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so the Hawks' offense will have their work cut out for them.
